Owning a large number of specialized lifting and crane equipment, SMC has excelled in securing a high rank in the Top 100 largest crane-owning companies in the world in 2024 (IC100 Cranes).

Announced in the June 2024 edition of International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine, SMC is honored to debut at 24th place in the 2024 IC100 Cranes ranking. Notably, SMC is currently the only company from Vietnam to be recognized in this year’s ranking.

SMC is the only company in Vietnam to be recognized in the 2024 IC100 Cranes ranking.

The IC100 Cranes ranking is a prestigious global ranking organized annually by KHL Group, evaluating crane-owning companies worldwide based on crane capacity in two main categories: crawler cranes and wheeled cranes.

Sharing about this achievement, Mr. Huynh Giap Nhan – Director of SMC, said: “SMC is proud to be the only Vietnamese enterprise honored in the 2024 IC100 Cranes ranking. Securing a high position in this ranking is the clearest testament to SMC’s strategic vision in creating sustainable values, providing solutions, and constructing industrial and green energy projects for the nation. It also honors the relentless efforts of the entire SMC staff.”

SMC participates in the construction of national-scale wind power projects across Southeast Asia.

Understanding the demand for lifting and crane equipment in the construction, installation of structural works, heavy industry, and transportation infrastructure sectors, particularly with the booming development of the wind power industry in recent years, SMC has seized a major business opportunity in crane exploitation. The company has boldly invested in a wide range of cranes with lifting capacities ranging from 25 tons to 1,250 tons from prestigious global brands to provide high-quality lifting equipment that meets international standards, fully satisfying the market’s demands.

In recent years, SMC has gradually conquered “demanding” markets with strict requirements for equipment and personnel, especially in renewable energy projects like wind, solar, and LNG power, as well as in heavy industries such as oil and gas, shipbuilding, and port construction.

SMC has steadily conquered “demanding” markets with strict requirements for equipment and personnel.

Earlier in 2023, SMC was also honored to be featured in the “Top 50 World’s largest specialized transport companies (IC50 Transport).” This is also a prestigious global ranking organized by KHL Group and published in International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine.

Participating in load out and transporting Pre-Piling Template structures weighing up to 1,450 tons using SPMT.

Through more than 11 years of relentless efforts since its establishment, SMC has consistently maintained and enhanced its position, continuously expanding its scale and improving service quality to meet the most stringent market demands. These efforts have made SMC a top choice for clients in large-scale structural, renewable energy, super-heavy transport, crane rental, and wind power O&M services.

Excelling in the IC100 Cranes ranking once again affirms and elevates the status of a Vietnamese enterprise on the regional and global stage. This achievement continues to cement SMC’s pioneering and leading position in the market, laying a strong foundation for even more vigorous growth in the future, delivering greater value to customers, and contributing to the prosperity of the nation.
