Ca Mau 1B Wind Power
Overview
Ca Mau wind power plant phase 1 has a total capacity of 350MW, including 4 wind power plants 1A, 1B, 1C and 1D with a total investment capital of more than 10,000 billion VND was invested by Trade and Construction Corporation (WTO).
In phase 1, the investor will install 83 wind turbines with a capacity of 4.5MW/turbine. The total power generation capacity of the project is expected to reach 1.1 million MWh/year. This is one of the key wind power projects of Ca Mau province.

SMC's mission
Receiving high trust from the general contractors Powerchina and Huadian, SMC participated as the main contractor to construct and install 7 wind turbine towers at Ca Mau 1B wind power plant with a capacity of 5.5MW/turbine.
SMC used a 14,000MT installation barge system, equipped with 1,250MT crawler cranes, 250MT crawler cranes and 130MT crawler cranes to participate in the lifting and installation of the wind power equipment.

SMC has mobilized all engineer resources, divided shifts to perform 24/24 to complete the work.
