Relocation of 350MT & 250MT jib cranes at Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding
Overview
SMC directly organized the relocation of 2 super cranes Jib 350MT and Jib 250MT with their own weight of 2,950MT and 1,750MT, respectively at Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding.
For the transportation project at the HVS shipyard with narrow space characteristics, there are many obstacles that are ship modules being built and the passage is almost perpendicular, requiring the use of specialized equipment is SPMT to be able to do this job.
SMC's mission
SMC has coordinated with HVS to unify and offer the best technical solutions before transportation.
SMC has also mobilized a technical team with many years of experience in trailer operation, including the direct consultation of leading experts in super-heavy transport from Europe of the Trungnam Group, mobilized a total of 144 SPMT axles and 8 PPUs of Scheuerle to carry out the relocation.
